At MFB Living Solutions, we create a welcoming and structured environment for adults and seniors seeking independent or semi-independent living. We pride ourselves on providing a clean, safe, and supportive place for individuals who are unhoused or at risk of homelessness. Our living solutions are designed for those ready to embrace community living while managing their daily needs.

My Father’s Business (MFB) Living Solutions provides housing-related services only, including:

  • Private and shared room accommodations
  • Access to common living areas
  • Use of kitchen and laundry facilities
  • Utilities as outlined in the rental agreement
  • A clean, safe, and structured living environment
  • On-site house management for rule enforcement and property operations

Services We Do NOT Provide:

My Father’s Business (MFB) Living Solutions does not provide:

  • Medical care or nursing services
  • Personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming)
  • Medication administration or reminders
  • Meal preparation or feeding assistance
  • Transportation services
  • Case management or supervision
  • Mental health or clinical services

Key criteria for residents

Understanding the responsibilities of our residents and the boundaries of our services ensures a harmonious and independent living experience for everyone. Here are some of the most important criteria for living at MFB Living Solutions.

What responsibilities do residents have?

Each resident is responsible for:

  • Their own meals and food
  • Their own medications
  • Their own personal hygiene
  • Their own transportation
  • Their own medical care
  • Their own daily living needs

Third-Party Support:

Residents may receive services from outside providers such as home health agencies, social workers, case managers, family members, and community service organizations. These providers are not employees of My Father’s Business (MFB) Living Solutions and are not supervised by this residence.

Who is eligible to apply?

We welcome residents from diverse backgrounds and circumstances, including individuals who may be receiving:

  • Social Security (SSI or SSDI)
  • Veterans benefits
  • Pension income
  • Other approved benefit programs

Are there any behaviors that are not allowed?

Living at My Father’s Business (MFB) Living Solutions requires cooperation, respect, and responsibility from all residents. These house rules are in place to keep the home safe, clean, and peaceful for everyone.

FAILURE TO FOLLOW HOUSE RULES MAY RESULT IN TERMINATION OF RESIDENCY.

All residents must:

  • Treat others with respect
  • Follow staff instructions
  • Follow posted schedules
  • Keep personal and shared areas clean
  • Respect privacy and personal space

Prohibited Behavior:

THE FOLLOWING BEHAVIORS ARE STRICTLY PROHIBITED:

  • Violence, threats, or intimidation
  • Illegal drugs or illegal activity
  • Weapons of any kind
  • Stealing or property damage
  • Harassment or bullying
